Obituary of Kyle Curtis Sexton

KYLE CURTIS SEXTON

28 March 1941– 14 January 2024

Kyle was 82 years old he was in the hospital for quite some time and fought a hard battle. He was predeceased by his mother, Esther Donahue Sexton, father Quildon (step mother, Cynthia), sister Virginia Sexton, sister Doris (Dewey) Taylor, brother Berthal (Hilde) Sexton. He has many nieces and nephews and their spouses that he dearly loves. His mother died when he was 11 years old and he missed her his whole life. He was a good man, son, brother, uncle, husband, father and grandfather. It would be hard to find a better man. Kyle was a concrete mason his whole life. He loved his job and was very good at it. In his younger days he actually poured concrete by himself. The house that we live in was one of the houses he poured by himself. Kyle was born in Habersham, Tennessee but called Olivia, North Caroline home, before coming to Florida. Doris and Dewey brought him to Haines City, Florida and from there to Melbourne. Kyle was married to Louise for 55 years, he had one son Shawn, and two grandchildren, Nicole and Tyler that he loves very much. A mutual friend introduced him to Louise and the rest as they say is history. Kyle and Louise worked together in the concrete business for about 35 years., she was right beside him. He was in the Army and stationed in Bomholder, Germany. He loved his country. He had no hobbies but he used to love to go to thrift stores with Louise. He loved reading the newspaper everyday from front to back, the first thing he read were the obituaries. His favorite saying was (“it’s humor Lou”), well Kyle this is not humor. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him. I want to thank special family members and the staff of Melbourne Regional ICU for their help and kindness. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
