Obituary of Emilio F. Landy

Emilio F. Landy of Palm Bay, Fl. passed away on Sunday, November 26th in Palm Bay, FL.

Emilio Landy was born November 30th, 1936 in Pittsfield, MA. The only son of Frank and Mary Landy; he graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1960. He would later go on to earn his Master of Education at Massachusetts State College in North Adams in 1967 and his Master of Science from SUNY Buffalo in 1971.

He worked as a civil engineer and then as a high school math teacher and was Pastor of Colonie Christian Life Center in Colonie, NY for 26 years before retiring in 2006.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norene; son Frank, daughter Mary Koob(Husband Scott) granddaughter Darby Koob and many "adopted" (or spiritual) children.

His Celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 9th at 10:00 a.m at Centerpointe Church located at 891 Coply St SE, Palm Bay, FL. 32909. Officiating will be Pastor Tom Walker, and lead speaker will be Pastor Randy Anson.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to any world missions program of your choice as that was where his heart was.
