Obituary of Paul Ted Montgomery

Paul Ted Montgomery, born on July 19, 1956, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.

Paul was born in Malone, New York on July 19, 1956, the son of Arthur and June (Hart) Montgomery. They both predeceased Paul. He graduated with his B.A. in English from Plattsburgh State College, New York in the Late 1980's. He served in the Air Force.

Paul was an avid reader, an amateur oil-painter, and a former raiser of pedigree dogs. He thoroughly loved interaction with others, and enjoyed dominoes, bingo, and cards with residents wherever he lived.

His nieces and a great niece made the following heartfelt remarks about their Uncle Paul:

"He enjoyed making people feel good about themselves."

"He was the most generous, caring and genuinely joyous and thoughtful uncle. He was never upset, always had a smile. He loved to buy flowers for people, and for the holidays, always provided a most delicious ham for the gathering at the family meal."

"Paul loved to make everyone around him laugh. He just loved to smile and be happy. He'd always meet you with a smile and a compliment to make you feel good, and it did! I loved that about him."

"Paul always saw the brighter side of things. He took everything in life and made light of it."

People outside the family made the following remarks about Paul:

"He was such a sweet guy!"

"He was a really gentle soul. I always enjoyed talking to him."

Paul is survived by his twin sister, Paula Campbell of Minoa, New York, his brothers, Timothy of Melbourne, Florida, and Niel of Fort Covington, New York, four nephews, six nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews.
