Obituary of Joseph Anthony Kaskiewicz

Kaskiewicz, Joseph A., Sr., 75, of 1267 Hedgecoth Street NW, Palm Bay, FL 32907 left us Saturday, May 28, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Judith (Cataldi) Kaskiewicz. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Anthony and Anastasia (Przybylowicz) Kaskiewicz. He lived in Providence until moving to Florida in 1988. He was an Army Veteran, member of AMVETS Post 13 and the Saint Bernardo Society of Providence. He worked the majority of his life in the automotive field with several companies in management positions and spent the last 19 years with the Wal-Mart Automotive department in Florida. Joseph was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter Lori Ann Konis and her husband Allen; His son Joseph A. Kaskiewicz, Jr. and fianc+â-¬e Donna; Seven grandchildren: Joseph A. Kaskiewicz, III in RI, Matthew and Daniel Konis, Sierrah, Branden, Jessika and Danika Kaskiewicz in Florida. He is survived by his devoted brother Peter J. Kaskiewicz and wife Jannet. He leaves behind his two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Anthony Cataldi of Florida, Richard Zalabowski and Theresa Kaskiewicz of RI. He was also the brother of the late Anthony Kaskiewicz and Angela Zalabowski. He was a simple man who never asked for much and enjoyed spending his time with family and friends whether it was holidays or special occasions to just getting together to play cards (High-Low Jack or 9-5). He always looked forward to taking his next trip and loved going on cruises. Judy was the love of his life from beginning to end and his children and grandchildren were that twinkle in his eye. He is going to be greatly missed by all who had ever met him. Viewing and service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, FL. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence, RI. A private burial will be held at a later date at Saint Ann+óGé¼Gäós Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children+óGé¼Gäós Research Hospital at stjude.org.
