Obituary of Giovanna Viotto

Giovanna (Gina) Viotto, age 83 of Melbourne Beach, FL, formerly of Mastic NY, passed away on November 25, 2017, at home with her children and grandchildren by her side. She was born October 18, 1934 in Noepoli, Italy to Carlo and Isabella Ventimiglia. Her husband Alcide predeceased her. Gina is survived by her four children, Ida and husband Jed Brambley of Eastport, NY, Carla Viotto of Melbourne, FL, Gina Viotto of Melbourne, FL and Regina Viotto of Hastings on Hudson, NY. Five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Gina worked for Brookhaven National Laboratories on Long Island, NY before retiring to FL. She strongly believed in helping and giving back to her community where she lived. Gina was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church in Melbourne Beach, FL. and the New Neighbors Club. She was devoted to her family and faith and showed it by the way she lived her life. To her friends and family, Gina would say, I thank everyone who walked through my life, affected it, and helped me to see the joy that came with it. I hope the only memories of me are the joy you readily gave me, the fun of shared laughter and finally, the love of family. Visitation will be at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care 1001 Hickory St, Melbourne, FL, Friday, December 1, 2017, from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass on December 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, Melbourne Beach, FL. Followed by a luncheon in the Church hall. Interment at Florida Memorial Garden, Rockledge, FL at 1pm
