Obituary of Ramon E. Tripp

Ramon E. Tripp, 80, (born Norfolk Va.) of Melbourne Florida, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015, on Veterans Day with his loving family by his side. He served in the United States Air Force Fire Department Air Crash Rescue retiring after 21 years, serving in numerous locations throughout the world including 2 tours in Vietnam. He retired as Fire Chief. Then continued his passion for the Fire Department working Civil Service, then going on to Saudi Arabia working Fire Protection for over 10 years including Airports in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dhahran and Oman. Mr. Tripp was a true patriot who enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Eliane Tripp whom he met and married while stationed in France, daughter Barbara Tripp (Everett), Son Lyonnel Tripp, daughter Marlene Tripp, and family. Niece April Tripp Niemeyer, Nephew Bruce Tripp, Step Brother Charles Hall (Navy), and family. Preceded by brother William Arthur “Buddy” Tripp (Army), Cousin Lt. Colonial John Paul Van (Army). A very special thank you to Dr. Gregory Hoang for outstanding care whom he referred to as a friend. Viewing will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Melbourne from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm with burial after at Florida Memorial Gardens.
