Obituary of Neil Paul McLaughlin

Neil Paul McLaughlin, 80, passed away suddenly on December 20, 2016. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 29, 1936 to Marguerite and Paul McLaughlin. His wife, Helen, of 37 years, and his sisters Jeanne Heinish and Edythe Straub precede him in death. He is survived by his sons Donald, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, his sister Aileen Donahue-Ohns, and brother Allyn, (Lucy) of Cleveland, Ohio. He was an uncle, a great – uncle, and great-great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Neil was an Airman 1st Class in the USAF during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the V.F.W. Upon leaving the military, he went to work for Eastern Airlines as a ramp lead. He was known to his family and friends as Mac or Uncle Bud and lived in Florida for over 50 years. He loved his family and was a happy-go-lucky guy that enjoyed life, always had a smile on his face, and always had a way to make you laugh. He enjoyed bowling, billiards, gambling, fishing, boating, and the beach. We love you and will miss you. We will keep you forever in our hearts and prayers.
