Obituary of Pamela S. Rhodes

Pamela S. Rhodes, age 49, of Palm Bay, passed on Friday, January 26, 2018, following a battle, first won – then lost, with cancer. She fought hard to continue to enjoy her career and the life she lived so well, but now she has her final reward of eternal salvation. Born in Fairborn, OH, as a young adult she dreamed of becoming a nurse, realizing her dream 27 years later, she had a career in cardiac care at Wuesthoff Hospital, Rockledge, FL, before transitioning to being a traveling nurse last year. She found great satisfaction in providing compassionate care for her patients. Pamela loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching movies with her family, visiting the beach, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, attending Professional Bull Riding events, eating seafood, and getting Dunkin Donuts coffee with a turbo shot. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family. Her family includes her daughter, Kayla Deloach Caddigan; grandchildren, Evangeline and Liam Caddigan; father, Charles L. Rhodes and his wife, Dee; mother, Ann Harris and her husband, Richard; siblings, Melissa Rhodes, Jennifer Brockwell and her husband, Kenneth, Charles Rhodes II and his wife, Ana, Tyler Stirtzinger and Deanna Stirtzinger; son in law, Patrick Caddigan; aunts, Millie Wilson, Nada McLeskey and Barbara Green; along with her nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will welcome friends from 4pm to 5pm, followed by a service to celebrate her life at 5pm, on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations should be considered to the Susan G Komen For The Cure Foundation.
