Norman was born in Amityville, Long Island, New York on September 17, 1933. Norman graduated from Amityville High School in New York in 1951. He fell in love with his blind date and married Therese +óGé¼+ôTerry+óGé¼-¥ Estabrook on September 25, 1954 at St. Bernard’s Church in Levittown, Long Island, New York. Norman worked at Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, New York. He transferred to Florida with Grumman to work on the Apollo Program at Cape Kennedy. Norman retired from Grumman, finishing his career at the Stuart, Florida plant after 37 years. Norman loved his home and family. He also had a love for cars, which he maintained pristinely (everyone loved getting one of +óGé¼+ôPop’s cars+óGé¼-¥), eating out, and playing games with family and friends. He always had a dog, his last one was a beautiful golden retriever named Charlie. He enjoyed feeding the local Florida wildlife that would daily visit his backyard, always keeping his birdfeeders full. For vacations, Norman and his wife enjoyed cruising and traveling. Their last cruise was to celebrate their 50th anniversary with 20 family members and friends in attendance. Our last family reunion was in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to celebrate many family occasions including their 60th anniversary. Norman and Terry have enjoyed their 25 years of retirement between Port St. Lucie and Palm Bay, Florida, where they were able to enjoy going to and helping out with the many sports events and activities of their grandsons.
