Obituary of Francis Joseph Ciccone

Francis Joseph Ciccone of Palm Bay, Florida passed away, as a result of a car accident, on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Frank was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on September 11, 1947 to Tony and Aussunta Ciccone. Frank married his childhood sweetheart, Annette Castro, in 1969. Frank and Annette then moved to Florida where Frank pursued his dream of being a police officer. Together they had four children, opened three businesses, and Frank began what would be a 35 year career as a police officer, holding several roles before retiring in 2006 as Sergeant. Following Annette’s passing in 2011, Frank married Brenda Miranda, who served as President of the Italian American Club of three terms. Frank was known for his love of family. All that knew him appreciated his optimism and wisdom, his ability to lead and bring people together, and his passion for politics, the environment, cooking, history, and his Italian heritage. Frank is survived by his wife Brenda Ciccone; his four children Dominique Ciccone, Jennifer Farrow, Frankie Ciccone, and April (Michael) McHale; grandchildren Bradley, Audrey, Leonardo, Sophia, Juliana, and Izabella; and brothers Tony, Joe, James, and Tom.The memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 5330 Babcock St NE, Palm Bay. Following the service, the family will hold an open reception at the Italian American Club of South Brevard, 1471 Cypress Ave, Melbourne.
