Obituary of James R. Ammon

Born on the 31st of July in 1931 to Dave and Wanda Ammon was a determined young man, James R. Ammon. Determined and proud to serve his country, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He flew jet aircraft during and after the Vietnam War. He was aggressive in his duties and became an Officer reaching the rank of Captain. He retired in 1969 to become a Real Estate Investor. During his remaining years, he invested money to take care of his family. Jay set an example we all should follow — “anything is achievable through determination.” Thomas Grant McDowell should know, as I am his brother, left to mourn his loss. James passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. He is survived by his son Larry R. Ammon of Texas and his daughters Linda Williams and Lisa Charette of Massachusetts. He is also survived by a combined total of ten grand and great grandchildren. James will forever be in our hearts. May you Rest in Loving Peace!!! ….….Your Loving Family
