Obituary of Kent Dickerman Bradley

Kent D. Bradley, 68, of Brevard County, FL, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Kent was born in New Haven, Connecticut on July 28, 1948, the son of the late Raymond Arthur Naumann Bradley, Sr and Georgina Gertrude Kreile Bradley. He was a quarterback on the Amity High School football team, graduating in 1966, and received his Bachelors degree in mathematics from Northeastern University in 1969. Kent built a career in computer automation. In the early 1970s he worked for TJX Inc on their first integration of computers into retail operations. by the late 70s he was working on telecommunications systems and solutions, which he would continue until his retirement from Results Technologies in 2008. Kent loved the great outdoors; he was an avid fisherman, and after his retirement would frequently tour the country visiting friends, family, and National Parks with his late wife, Linda. He was a volunteer at Riviera UCC of Palm Bay, FL and His Place Ministries of Melbourne, FL. A prostate cancer survivor, he supported several cancer research organizations, including the MMRF. He is survived by his son Adam and wife Heather of Issaquah, WA; his son Benjamin and wife Laura of Chapel Hill, NC; his grandsons, David and Justin of Chapel Hill, NC; his brother, Raymond Arthur Nauman Bradley, Jr of Waltham, MA; and Sharon Marie Eielson Marvel of Delray Beach, FL, the mother of his sons. He is predeceased by his wife, Linda Harris Bradley. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at His Place Ministries, 1824 S Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne at the corner of Strawbridge Ave. In lieu of flowers, Kent has requested donations to His Place Ministries, 1824 S Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne 32901
