Obituary of Joachim Knueppelholz

Joachim “Jo” Knueppelholz peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the age of 88, due to a blood disorder. Jo was born in Bad Oldesloe, Germany. He came to the United States in 1954. Jo met the love of his life, Ethel in 1955. They were married for 54 wonderful years. Ethel predeceased Jo in death. Jo is survived by his daughter Antje (Knueppelholz) Carroll and her husband Robert J. Carroll, Jr. and extended family and friends. Jo worked for the University of Michigan Exhibit Museum, in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he was in charge of building all of the exhibit showcases. His passions included traveling the world, gardening, photography, investing, making movies and belly dancing.
