Obituary of Sally Marlene Inghram

Sally Marlene Inghram, 83, of Palm Bay, FL. Passed away after a lengthy illness September 8, 2017. Born in Burlington, Iowa to Clyde and Hazel Mehaffy on June 26, 1934, she lived most of her life in Burlington and Danville, LA. Area until moving to Sebastian,FL. In 1996. On February 10, 1954 she married Robert E. Inghram, who survives her. She is also survived by two sons, Michael Scott/Janet and Terry Harlan/Tracy, one brother Ronald T. Mehaffy/Nawanda, Brother-in-Law Paul Brayton, six Grandchildren, Natalie, Robert E. III, Anna, Daniel, Megan and Matthew, twelve Great Grand Children, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Sally was pre deceased by sons Robert E. Jr., parents Clyde and Hazel Mehaffy, in-laws Alfred and Pearl Inghram, brother Darwin H. Mehaffy and numerous brother and sister-in laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Sally was graduate of Burlington, LA High School,class of 1952 and a life long member of Community of Christ Church, where she held the office of priest and before her illness was co-pastor of the Palm Bay, FL. Branch. Sally had worked for Dr. Samuelson, Sylvanias, National Bank, Southeastern Community College, Champion Spark Plug, IAAP, and assisted her husband in several business ventures (Danville Motel, Midwest Carpet, and Bob Inghram Auto Sales). Sally was a beloved wife (63 years), Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunt who doted on her family members and many friends. Sally was an avid sports fan, who especially loved watching and cheering for her children and grand children as they participated in their activities. She loved crafting, cooking, dining with family and friends, traveling with her husband and doing work for her church and helping anyone who had needs. Sally brought joy to all those that her life may have touched. She will be missed by all who had the opportunity to share of her love. Services will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, at Community of Christ Church, 1901 Emerson Dr SE, Palm Bay, FL. A second service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, at Community of Christ Church, 901 S 12th St, Burlington, IA Donations in lieu of flowers may be given to her church (Community of Christ) or Outreach International.
