Obituary of Clinton Adam White

Clinton Adam White, 78, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016. Clinton Adam White was born in Hanley Falls, Minnesota to Adam Gibson White and Emilia Anna (Oppek) White, the youngest of five children. Clint grew up on the family farm in Summit Township in Blackduck, Minnesota and attended school in Blacduck and Willmar, Minnesota. He served in the United States Army and trained at Fort Leaonard Wood, Missouri. He served with the 62nd Engineering Battalion in Germany and the 66th Air Base Group at Laon Air Base in France. Clint was a ranch hand on one of the largest wheat ranches in Montana for several years before returning to Minnesota to work on road construction with his father Adam. Later he, his father and brother worked on building the Illinois Toll Road. While living in the Chicago area, Clint was employed by Lockheed Air Terminal at O’Hare Airport and Rockwell International in Barrington, Illinois. After moving to Florida in 1987, Clint continued to work as a mechanical engineer for Rockwell before he retired and started his own consulting business. Clint and his wife enjoyed traveling throughout the United States in their motorhome visiting family and friends. Clint especially loved the majestic mountains and soaring eagles in Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Survivors include his wife Roberta (Bobbie); daughter Dori White-Perry of Maringo, Illinois; sons Jeffery White of Lake in Hills, Illinois and Steven (Lori) White of Palm Bay, Florida; step sons David (Dawn) Guyer of Huntley, Illinois, Michael Guyer of Knoxville, Tennessee and Joseph (Diana) Guyer of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, six step grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother Jim White and sister Rose Marie Fisher; ssiters in law Genevieve White, Rosel White, Louise (Timothy) McCants and Jessie (Douglas) Huber and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Clint was predeceased by his parents; grandson Devin +óGé¼+ôDJ+óGé¼-¥ Perry; nephew David White; brothers LeRoy and Norman White; sister in law Eleanor White and brother in law Charles Fisher. The family would like to thank Hospice of Health First for their loving and compassionate care. “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 His memorial service will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at William Childs Hospice House, 387 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay, FL. US Army honors will be accorded.
