Obituary of Timothy William Stricklan

Timothy William Stricklan, 33, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in Melbourne. Born February 6, 1984 in Renton, Washington, Timothy was a wise and wonderful soul. As middle child he looked up to big brother Christopher and was little sister Kimberly’s number one compadre. More recently he was the favorite fun uncle to Will, Juliette, Lola and Sophie. Timothy spent his early childhood in Oregon before his family relocated to Florida. He was equally in love with snow and sand. Anything that could be done outdoors he was there. He excelled in a number of sports on land and water. Fish didn’t stand a chance when he got out his rod and reel. He was smart, funny and fun. Had beautiful hazel eyes, a contagious smile, and was always singing. He was the friend who cheered you up when you were down and never forgot to call. A graduate of Eau Gallie High School, Timothy was a hard worker. He was employed at UPS, Publix, and most recently Melbourne Same Day Surgery. Timothy is survived by his loving mother Linda and stepfather Mike Konecsny; brother Christopher Stricklan and his wife Christina Keshishian, sister Kimberly and her husband T.J. Hinrichs and beloved nieces and nephews Will and Juliette Stricklan and Lola and Sophie Hinrichs, all of Brevard County; his father Bob Stricklan of Oregon; grandfather William Stricklan and Leslie Spence, and grandmother Joy Karp. His girlfriend Cindy Erlsten and beloved pup Millie. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and oh so many friends. A celebration of his life will be held on his birthday weekend. Saturday, February 3 from 2 to 4 pm at Pelican Beach Clubhouse, 1495 Highway A1A, Satellite Beach, FL 32937, friends and family are encouraged to stop by to share a memory and his favorite meal – a hamburger. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you consider a donation in his memory to the Brevard Neighborhood Development Coalition, 1151 Masterson St, Melbourne, FL 32935.
