Obituary of Lillian Diamond

Lillian Diamond, 91, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at home in West Melbourne, Florida. She was born in Locust Valley, New York on December 13, 1925 to Adam and Catherine (Kotkiewicz) Gorski. She attended school in Locust Valley and Glen Cove, New York. She was employed by Columbia Ribbon and Carbon Mfg. Co. in Glen Cove as the Personnel Secretary. After relocating to Cherry Hill, New Jersey, she married Richard Diamond of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was employed by Strawbridge and Clothier in their Clover Division as the Assistant to the Personnel Director. In 1993, Lillian and Richard retired to West Melbourne, residing in Hollywood Estates. She is a past member of Daughters of the Nile, Hadji Court #88, and Melbourne Chapter #106 O.E.S. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard. She is survived by children, Stanley (Marti) Lupinski of Canton, GA, Barbara A. Smith of West Melbourne, John (Coletta) Lupinski of Boulder, CO. Her five grandchildren, Stacy Lupinski of Windsor, CA, Scott (Nancy) Lupinski of Roswell, GA, Melissa (Christopher) Horn of Denver, CO, Eric (Kristian) Lupinski, of Lafayette, CA, and Brian (Kayla) Smith of Palm Bay, FL. Four great-grandchildren, Alex Lupinski, Ryan Lupinski, Lillian Horn, and Bauer Lupinski. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 3:00 pm. at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 1001 S. Hickory Street, Melbourne. Interment will take place on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 12:30 PM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims.
