Obituary of Andrew Stephen Strasko

Andrew Stephen Strasko, 82, of West Melbourne, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at his home. He was born September 3, 1933 to Margaret (Nargi) and Stephen Strasko. After serving in the Army for three years, Andy started his own landscaping and snow plowing business. He began working as a landscaper at a young age with his stepfather Pasquale Circelli, and was a talented auto mechanic. Known as +óGé¼+ôHandy Andy,+óGé¼-¥ his friends could always count on him. Andy, or +óGé¼+ôSonny+óGé¼-¥ as he was known by his lifetime friends and family, was greatly loved by his friends in Compass Pointe, as well as his sisters in New Jersey, Dolores Phillips and Patricia Sica. Everyone who knew Andy described him as a sweet man; he leaves behind a lasting touch on all who were fortunate enough to meet him. Andy’s journey home includes being reunited with his beloved wife of 56 years, Ann Marie. He is survived by his daughters Linda Wilbert and Karen Strasko; and grandson Jesse Wilbert.His memorial service, officiated by Fr. Cleo, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 S. Hickory Street, Melbourne.
