Omi It would be wrong to compare you to a garden that blooms during Spring The beauty, the color, the life it brings. Bumblebees and butterflies. Yes, your smile, your eyes, they light the room as the sun brightens the garden on a cloudy day. But I cannot compare you. It would be wrong to compare you to the ocean. The tides so strong, the sun dancing beneath the waves, life still growing abundantly below. Yes, you are as strong, as courageous as the waves crashing on the shore But I cannot compare you. It would be wrong to compare yo to the Earth that faithfully revolves around the Sun A home to so many Yes, your home is as warm, as welcoming But I cannot compare you. Because Omi, you are so much more than these things You are the sun on which they depend. By Clara Castor
