Obituary of Carol Lee Webster Yip-Young

Carol Lee Webster Yip-Young was born to John and Helen Webster on May 5, 1951 in Washington DC. She is survived by her husband Dr. Kenneth M. Yip-Young, son Thomas Anthony Webster. Step son Mike Yip-Young Junior, Step-daughters, Michelle Tolbert, Melinda Robinson, Grandchildren Victoria Webster, Jacob Webster, Cadence and Carmen Tolbert, Bailey Robinson, Lily Beth Yip-Young, Gabrielle Yip-Young, Justin Libby. Great grandchildren Kaden Beer and Gracelynn Colando, daughter-in-law Patrice Kelty, 4 siblings: John Webster, Ed Webster, Jay Webster and Lu Carnucci, 5 nieces and nephews and 16 cousins. Carol was a former real estate agent at National Realty in Brevard County, Florida as well as Baldus Realty in LaPlata, Maryland. She studied at Prince George’s community college in Largo Maryland. She went to Suitland high school in Suitland, Maryland and graduated in 1969. She was primarily raised in Maryland living in District Heights, Waldorf, and La Plata; moving to southern Florida in 2000. Carol married Dr. Yip-Young on December 5, 1997. Carol was very gifted in the area of music. She sang in several bands and was self taught at playing the guitar, harmonica, base fiddle, organ and piano. She also was a successful entrepreneur- owning 2 Curves for Women Fitness Gyms in the Palm Bay Area. Carol was also involved with the American Heart Association and while serving as an EMT saved a life. Carol orchestrated an adoption for one of her brothers’ friends, who now have a son named John Thomas thanks to her efforts. Carol Lee completed her journey back home on February 18th, 2020 surround by loving family.
