Obituary of Roger Frank Gailey

Roger Frank Gailey, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2015, surrounded by his family. Roger was born February 11, 1938 in Seattle, Washington, the son of Frances Virginia Branigan and Alford Miller Gailey. They moved to Penfield, NY in 1948. Roger graduated from Penfield High School in 1956. He graduated from Michigan State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in business. Roger served in the U.S. Army and he married Dolores Jeanne Demmer from Royal Oak, MI in May 1961. He worked for E I duPont as a sales representative and later Gailey & Associates as a manufacturer+óGé¼Gäós representative. He and his family moved to Satellite Beach, FL in 1978. He owned and operated Kelley+óGé¼Gäós Cocktail Lounge in Melbourne, FL. Roger belonged to the Rolling Sams Chapter of Good Sams International where he enjoyed camping and playing cards with his wife and many of their good friends. He volunteered at the Salvation Army for many years and was very devoted to that cause. He passed away at Kindred Care in Melbourne, FL after a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Dolores, and his children Michael (Norma) Gailey, Kristen (Casey) Stevens; grandchildren Foster and Chase Gailey, Matthew and Ryan Stevens; his brother, Bruce Gailey of Carnation, WA; and his sister, Robin Janson of Sunbury, OH. His granddaughter, Nina Gailey, preceded him in death. Roger was a caring husband, father, grandfather and a great friend.
