Obituary of Louis Alessandro

Louis Alessandro was born June 5, 1923 and passed on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the William Childs Hospice Center in Palm Bay, FL. He graduated from Murray Hill High School in New York City at the age of 16. At 20, he joined the U.S. Army serving in the European Theater during WWII and was honorably discharged. Shortly there after, he met and married his wife, Mary Monaco on February 23, 1947. Their marriage endured until MaryGÇÖs passing on October 1, 2008. He is survived by their four children, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and by a niece and three nephews, whom he considered his children. After being discharged from the Army he worked as an auto body painter in Brooklyn, NY and eventually owned several auto body shops. LifeGÇÖs greatest joy for him came from his love for Mary, his children, his family, being an American and having the honor of serving his country. Dad requested there be no viewing or funeral service but did request family and friends wishing to get together should meet at a restaurant everyone agreed upon and celebrate his life enjoyed on earth and his entrance into his new mansion in Heaven.
