Obituary of Levin Lewis Barker

Levin L. Barker Jr., 86, passed away on October 26, 2017. Born in Salisbury, Maryland on December 5, 1930, the son of Levin Lewis and Lillian P. Barker. Levin served our country in the United States Air Force. He was enlisted from 1950 to 1954. His duties included Medical Inventory Clerk.  Levin received the following medals during his service time: Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Levin was a past State President in the Elks Association in Maryland, Delaware and Distrct of Columbia; past District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler, North East District; past Exalted Ruler, Havre de Grace Lodge no. 1564, B.P.O.E. He is survived by his wife Rita Barker; daughters Laurie Laser and Sharon Jacobs; son Douglas Stone; stepsons Jeffrey Bolduc, David Bolduc and Mark Bolduc; stepdaughters Tina Linnel and Lisa Hankins; sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandson, brother Phil Barker (former Mayor of Havre De Grace, Maryland 1997-2001). A celebration of life  will be held at the Melbourne Elks Lodge, 211 Newman Avenue on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. United States Air Force  military honor guard will present Taps at 1p.m. Arrangements by Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Rd.
