Obituary of Ronald Edward Edison

Ronald Edward Edison, 79, of Melbourne, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at home. He was steadfast in his faith in his Lord and Savior as a Baptist and lived his life for others. He was born in West Palm Beach, FL and grew up in Miami. He retired after 30 years service from Southern Bell in Melbourne. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Mannheim, Germany. He was a 40-year member of the Harbor City Masonic Lodge #318. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers and spending time with loved ones. His amazing character and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Dolawese, who cared for him during his lengthy battle with ParkinsonGÇÖs; his sons, Kenneth (Alise) Edison of St. Cloud, and Jeffrey (Georgia) Edison of Kennesaw, GA; grandchildren, Brian (Audrey), Courtney, Erik (Stephanie), Kendall, Wyatt, Zoe and Ethan; great grandchildren, Elijah, Sydney, Emily and Annalise; sisters, Donna (John) Jarvis of Gulf Breeze, FL and Margaret (Jim) Van Wagner of Venice, FL; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Delma Edison; brothers Jim, Tom and his twin, Donald Edison; and sister Joyce Woodson.
