Obituary of Eleanor Jane Lillian Wehrmann

Eleanor Jane Lillian Wehrmann, 101, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at William Childs Hospice House. The daughter of Swedish immigrants, Gustave and Gunhild Oak, Eleanor was born and raised in Cicero, IL where she met and married Arthur Wehrmann. A loving and devoted mother, her family includes her children Susan Vagi (Paul), Todd Wehrmann (Judy), Elizabeth Carroll (John), and Janet Wehrmann (Jim Rauschenberger); grandchildren Tracie, Kristin, Heather, Amy, Christopher, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Mark, and Erik; great grandchildren Max, Nathaniel, Arthur, Ryan, Molly, Clayton, Cameron, Ava, and Abby; and her sister Leona Raschbacher of Melbourne. Eleanor was faithful in her service to the Lord and was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Indialantic. She enjoyed playing tennis, gardening, dancing, playing piano, playing scrabble, and traveling. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, enthusiastic attitude, compassionate spirit, welcoming smile, and lovely blue eyes.A memorial service will be on Thursday, February 4th, at 11am in the chapel of Eastminster Presbyterian Church.Memorial contributions may be made to Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 106 N.
