Obituary of Paul Joseph Hoskins

Paul Joseph Hoskins formally of Minerva, Ohio, peacefully passed away at 3 a.m., Friday, February 24, 2017. He was born on March 15, 1933, in Chester, West Virginia to Herman and Noretta Hoskins. He lived in Rockledge, Florida and was a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church.  He served as a Eucharistic Minister. He served our Country in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.  He retired from T.R.W. in Minerva, Ohio where he was employed as a technician of aircraft manufacturing.  Mr. Hoskins was a member of BPO Elks and the Moose Lodge.  He enjoyed traveling, dancing, playing cards with friends and enjoyed time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn (Stanley) Hoskins and his daughters Lisa Burdette, Marianne Karam (Fadi) and Jennifer McDowell (Todd).  Also, three sons Paul M. Hoskins (Hope), Steven J. Hoskins and Thomas J. Hoskins (Judy). He is survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and his brother John W. Hoskins. Preceding him in death were his parents and 2 brothers and 6 sisters.  A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rockledge, Florida on Thursday, March 2 at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Helping Hands or Wueshtoff Brevard Hospice House at 8060 Spyglass Hill Road, Viera, Florida 32940.
