Obituary of Mary Catherine Sheets

Mary Catherine Sheets, age 67, went ahead of us peacefully in the morning of February 25, 2017. Born in Fort Worth, TX she traveled many places before settling in Melbourne area in December of 89. Traveling with her husband in active duty, Fred, and her oldest daughter, Brenda, she was given the opportunity to visit many places around the world. A social worker and a teacher, Mary always believed in putting God, family and others before herself. Moving to Melbourne, she continued her work and furthered her education by becoming an RN. After retiring from her final career with adult day centers, she became active with church groups helping the poor and needy. A loving and devoted wife and mother her family includes her husband, Frederick Sheets of Palm Bay, FL; daughter Brenda Sheets of Tampa, FL; daughter Valerie Philippi and husband, Justin of East Longmeadow, MA; son Brian Sheets of Apopka, FL; grandchildren Zane, Sidney, Ronan, Lorelei, and Victor and brother David White of Camp Verde, AZ.
