Obituary of Elphia A. Harden

Elphia A. Harden, passed on Sunday, January 22, 2017. Elphia was born December 6, 1928 to George and Carrie Lou Harden in Okeechobee FL. He attended the University of Florida, where he was on the 1948 Gator Football team. He continued to be a life-long Gator fan. He is survived by his brother, Allen Harden and his daughter, Rosa Fullerton; step-children, Carol Luce, Robert French and Patrick French; grandchildren, Erin Ferrell, Rory Fullerton, Hunter French and Sean Duggan; two great granddaughters, Elle Sue Ferrell and Beatrice Ferrell; along with nieces, nephews and others who loved him. He was preceded in death by his wives, Alice M. Harden and Odette French-Harden; and his son, Randy Harden. Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 25 at Florida Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Rockledge.
