Obituary of Mary Lou Abrams

Following a brief but serious illness, Mary Lou Abrams, 74, beloved wife of Paul Abrams, devoted mother to their two daughters, Liza and Rachel, died peacefully on Friday May 6th, 2016, at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Paul, her husband of over 50 years, was by her side. A Buffalo, NY native, Mary Lou enjoyed her work. She brought her talents to a number of different of health-care jobs including pharmacies, a chiropractor and dental practices. In addition to raising a family and working outside the home, she always made time to volunteer. Most recently, she volunteered at Club Esteem, helping students with their school work. Mary Lou enjoyed traveling and was passionate about animals. Her passion for animals was shared by her husband and passed on to their 2 daughters. In particular, she always had a special place in her heart for cats. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bosler Humane Society Inc.
