Obituary of George “Mack” Mosier

Born February 27, 1962, and lived fully until the day his tragic accident on June 5, 2016 changed our lives forever. Taken from us without warning, Mack was larger than life and has left a great legacy to each of us. Mack would want us to live each day to the fullest, do our best, get our +óGé¼+ôPriorities+óGé¼-¥ in order, and if ever in doubt just ask, +óGé¼+ôWhat would Mack do?+óGé¼-¥ Do not spend your days in sorrow, but look to Heaven because as his mom I know Mack accepted Jesus Christ into his heart many years ago. If you knew Mack, you knew he lived from his heart. Mack! What a joy to have had you as a husband, son, brother, uncle, chosen father figure, loyal friend, outdoors enthusiast, smiling neighbor, and businessman with great integrity. This is not a story of how much we all miss you, not a story of what you meant to each one of us personally+óGé¼-ªbut a story of your smile, your character, your humor, and your Priorities! To cherished wife, Colynn Mosier, you proved to be her loving husband. You never failed to claim your love and friendship each morning to this wonderful woman+óGé¼-ªyou never forgot to tell her each day +óGé¼+ôI love you, you+óGé¼Gäóre my best friend, and it doesn+óGé¼Gäót get any better than that!+óGé¼-¥ Choosing Colynn as your wife was a wise move, and one which brought you 26 years of a partnership centered on respect, love, kindness, joy, adventure, and friendship! Colynn+óGé¼Gäós family became your family, her concerns became yours, and her life became one with yours. You fulfilled your legacy as her husband, Mack. Well done! To your father, George Mack Mosier, Sr., deceased, you were his redheaded son with enough backbone to move mountains and enough grace to calm the seas. Your dad saw early on that you were a leader, and he was so proud of his son. For years, your step-mother, Sue Mosier, loved you with her whole heart. She understood your strength. Your Grandmother Beatrice Ledford laughed and smiled as she watched you run past, as she prepared the Thanksgiving turkeys you got that morning, or the fish fry Saturdays from your catch that day. To your mother, Cecile Marion Blunt, you were her first born, her strength, and her son. What a job she had! You took care of your mother with a deep affection and love, which is why you knew how to love your wife so very deeply. Your mother was the first to see you into this world and the last to see you out. What mother could ask for more? Your Grandmother Alice Blunt loved you immensely and would have adored the humorous and loving tribute you gave at her funeral while describing the +óGé¼+ôbear hugs+óGé¼-¥ she had for everyone. To your sister, Keren Mosier, you were the best friend and most sneaky fighting ninja during childhood. Then just a distant phone call, one which always brought back your loving voice and laughter as our adult lives progressed. To Chandra, Ethan, Michelle, and Jonathan, you were Uncle Mack; the mere mention of your name brought attentive ears at the stories to hear! To your brother, David Kevin Mosier, your friendship growing up proved to last a lifetime that distance would not diminish. A little brother to play with, fight with, and be best friends with during youth, then a younger brother to respect as adults. Vicki, Stephanie, Kevin, and Justin have great memories to cherish. To the McNeils, Millers, Knuths, and Knopfs, Mack was your son-in-law, your brother-in-law, and your Uncle Mack. His smile was full-on when it came to loving you! Colynn+óGé¼Gäós parents, Chuck (deceased) and Carol, loved you deeply and always looked forward to your next visit in Wisconsin, whether for construction/repairs at the home and lake cabin or fishing for the elusive Wisconsin muskies and walleyes, and of course, the +óGé¼+ôwalleyemusculungepikes.+óGé¼-¥ To Dillon, Mack+óGé¼Gäós +óGé¼+ôson+óGé¼-¥ of choosing, and all of the other +óGé¼+ôsons+óGé¼-¥ and +óGé¼+ôdaughters+óGé¼-¥ Mack was lucky enough to mentor in this world; you gave Mack an amazing gift+óGé¼-ªthe gift of your time, learning, and companionship. You+óGé¼Gäóve each learned many skills, values, and virtues, and he gave you many tools you need to accomplish your purpose in this life. He would expect you to live life to the fullest and always be your best self. Keep what you have learned alive in you throughout your years and pass the values and lessons on to others as you grow older! To Mack+óGé¼Gäós friends+óGé¼-ªwow! Wow!
