Obituary of Marjorie Roberta Cianelli

Marjorie Roberta Cianelli, 83, died Friday, March 11, 2016 peacefully at her home after a long and courageous battle with lung issues. Born on March 18, 1932 to the late John and Cecil Urie, she was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She married the love of her life, Dante Cianelli on September 1, 1951. They met at a USO dance while he was serving his country in the US Air Force, stationed at Nellis AFB. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend, always putting others before herself. She had the most generous loving heart and touched many people with her presence. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. She was a member of the Catholic Church and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who adored her. In her youth she was a member of the San Francisco Ballet Co., which was always one of her passions. After her marriage she moved to Harve de Grace, Maryland, where they raised three sons and managed a doctors office. In 1986 they moved to Orlando, Florida and she worked for 20 years as a secretary at the Living Seas in Disney World. Some of the family’s happiest memories are of the many Disney cruises that they enjoyed with her and PopPop. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dante Cianelli; son, Michael, and his wife, Bri and their two children, Chris and Katie, along with Chris’ wife, Danielle, and their two children, Christopher Gage and Ryder; her youngest son, Dion and his wife, Prosperity, and Dion’s daughter Gina Cianelli; and her sisters, Jeanie, Jackie, and Gerry.Services will be held at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 3 p.m. A reception will follow at Compass Point Community Center, 707 Rochester Drive, West Melbourne FL 32904.In lieu of flowers donations should be considered to Hospice of Health First, 1900 Dairy Road, West Melbourne FL, 32904.
