Obituary of Andrew George Folley

Andrew (Andy) Folley, 86, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 of natural causes. Born in Fort Lee, NJ, he moved to Brevard County in 1982. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and retired as a Major after many years in the Army Reserve. After active duty he was a successful salesman ending his sales career with Morse Controls in Ohio. He was very active in MOAA at PAFB serving many years as the Master of Arms. He was also very active in the Space Trackers Square Dance organization. He was known for and loved to play Santa and the Easter Bunny for the kids. A loving and devoted husband, his family includes his wife Esther, his stepdaughter Pat Simms (Don) of Viera, stepson Frank DuPuis (Chris) of Germantown, TN, stepson Barry DuPuis (Lynn) of Cocoa Beach, son Dr. Andrew (Lorree Taylor) Folley of Corpus Christi, TX, son Michael (Jill) Folley of Mission Viejo, CA, son Dr. William (William Myers) Folley of Knoxville, TN, daughter Dr. Candace (David) Zubricky of Cleveland, OH, 20 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren. His cremated remains will be present at his memorial service and celebration of life event at Grace Brethern Church 1001 N. Pinehurst Ave. in Melbourne at noon on Tuesday, February 2, followed by a military internment at Florida Memorial Gardens on 8950 S. US.1 in Rockledge.Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
