Obituary of Lorelei Marie Hamer

Lorelei Marie Hamer, 33, of Cocoa, FL passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018. She was born in Manchester, New Hampshire to Richard and Mary Hamer on November 23, 1984. Lorelei spent most of her life growing up in New Hampshire. Her kind heart led her to studying nursing in college. She loved online gaming and spent countless hours enjoying her passion. Lorelei’s career as a Pet Care Specialist reinforced that she was a lover of all animals. She had a special place in heart for her cats, Pandora and Calliope. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Gyder Hamer in 2014 along with her grandfather in 2016. Left to mourn her loss is her father, Richard Hamer; stepmother, Sharon Angel Hamer; brother, Alexander (Aimee Belanger) Hamer; sister, Lucy Hamer; maternal uncle, Charles Gyder; maternal aunt, Maggie Gyder (Andy) Knapp.  Also mourning are her 5 step siblings: Michael and Kristen Hutchins; Rachel, Rebekah and Jonathan Lurvey; four cousins, Colin Knapp, Haley Knapp Reynolds, Joanna and Jonathan Hamer. She had many friends in various locations who loved her dearly. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL, 321-724-2222.
