Obituary of Raymond E. Miller

RAYMOND EUGENE MILLER 80 of Melbourne, Fl., passed away on June 21, 2017, after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.  Ray was born & raised in Springfield, Ohio.  He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran.  He worked for Union Carbide Co. and retired from Honeywell in Clearwater, Fl.  He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, reading and watching sports. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Janet, of Indianapolis;  and his parents, Kenneth & Donna Belle Miller and brother Melvin Miller all of S. Vienna, Ohio and one step-daughter, Karen (Richard) Ramirez of Napa, Ca. He is survived by his loving wife Mary (Hayes) Miller, his 5 children – Tim (Debbie) Miller of Melbourne, Fl..; – Steve (Debbie) Miller of Indianapolis; – Tammy Nolan of St. Pete, Fl.; – Charlene (Jeff) Hoovler of Michigan; – and Jamie (John) Wheeler of Indianapolis plus 3 step-daughters – Cathy (Bill) of Utah; – Kim (Jim) of Utah;  and Kelly (Dwight) Sweet of Ohio; brother John (Jacqueline) Miller of Ohio; 27 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, plus many nieces and nephews and so many wonderful friends. He was a good man and will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of family and love for his country.
