Obituary of Lloyd George Coombs

Mr. Lloyd George Coombs passed away on Saturday July 11th, 2015 at the age of 67. At the time of his death, he was surrounded by his wife and daughters who gave him lots of hugs and kisses. Lloyd is survived by his beloved family and friends. His wife Cherian Coombs; Mother: Beulah Miller; Children: Georgia Rattray, Nicola Long, Serena Coombs and Karen Fisher-Wallen; Stepchildren: Courtney Stewart, Carl Stewart, Savannah Crooks and Delano Fisher; Grandchildren Dyllon Rattray, Johannah Long, Drew Rattray, Kevon Mair, Alesha Wallen, Danielle Fisher and Dyman Fisher; Siblings: Steadman McKay, Geraldine Miller, Marlene Coombs, Pauline Coombs, Henry Miller, Vivienne Walker and many other family and friends including (BCASCA). Lloyd was born in Kingston, Jamaica on March 20th, 1948. After completing his studies at a technical college in Jamaica, he worked as a Teacher and the best Carpenter around. He taught at several schools in Jamaica prior to migrating to New York where he continued to teach Furniture Design, Technical Drawing and Carpentry. Lloyd was a loving, charming man who enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, entertaining, cooking, (especially roast fish), listening and sharing music. He was an excellent cabinet maker who did not pass up an opportunity to make something out of wood.Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church Melbourne, located at 3301 Dairy Rd, Melbourne Fl. 32901 on Saturday July 25th, 2015. Viewing will be 11:00am +óGé¼GÇ£ 1:00pm and Funeral Services from 1:00pm +óGé¼GÇ£ 3:00pm. Repast immediately following the service at Brevard Caribbean American Sports and Cultural Association (BCASCA) located at 2174 Harris Ave NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905
