Ed was a retired military WWII Veteran. He met his wife Ingeburg during the war, while stationed in Germany. Ed traveled all over the world on his many military tours.
Ed will be remembered for his love of life. He cherished all his children, always making the time to be there for them. He wore so many hats, always loved life and being with family and friends. He loved watching boats and ships going in and out of the ports. While raising his children he was a Scout Leader and a Little League Coach. Ed always made his family’s basketball and baseball games in or out of town. He was always there cheering for his family and their team. He never missed a single game. Ed worked three jobs to make ends meet for his large family but never complained. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His hobbies were working with leather. He always made his own belts and wallets for his family and friends.
He loved to travel, meeting with family, old friends and having ice cream in the park, while watching “the doggies”.
Ed loved Daisy Mae, his son’s dog. He would always light up when she came by to visit. Ed is remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.
We miss you already. You have touched so many lives. While there is an ache in our hearts, we are thankful that he is again in the arms of his beloved wife Ingeburg.
