Obituary of Maureen Anne Fallon

Maureen Anne Fallon, beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend passed peacefully and surrounded by love on Monday, February 27, 2023. Born May 21, 1952 In Philadelphia, Pa to Joseph Patrick Fallon and Anne Teresa Fallon (née Kelly). Maureen dedicated her life to her students and ensuring that they felt encouraged and safe. She was a light in an often dark world and made those around her feel seen and understood. From a young age Maureen shared her love of music and performing, taking part in plays and Drum Corp. An original member of the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corp, Maureen contributed not only as a member but also as a long time volunteer. Maureen, also known as Fal, the godfather, Ms. Fallon, among others to her beloved students at West Shore Jr/Sr High in Melbourne, FL she instilled a love of theatre and the performing arts. The countless lives she touched and nurtured have a profound ripple effect and prove that her legacy is one of humility and grace.

 

Maureen is survived by her three daughters Shannon Reppert, Brighid Reppert, and Caitlin Reppert; her brother Terence Fallon and wife Carole (née Smith ); her sister Donna Steakelum (née Fallon) and husband Scott, their children Brendan Steakelum and wife Laura (nee King), and Brianne Martin (nee Steakelum) and husband Michael. She is preceded in death by her father Joseph, her mother Anne, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many furry family members.

 

Viewing will be at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 North Harbor City Boulevard, Melbourne, FL 32935 on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow the viewing at the church at 1:00 PM.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Maureen’s name to the American Kidney Foundation and The National Music Educators Association.
