Ellen Lord Margraf died on January 21, 2023, at Vitas Hospice in Rockledge, Florida.

Preceded in death by her husband in 2012, Joseph C. Margraf. Their love story lasted for 52 years in the creation of many homes and traveling the world.
Ellen’s service to her community included teaching religious education, coaching elementary school cheerleading, being a friendly visitor to people in nursing homes and hospitals, and countless other corporal works of mercy. Her joys were simple and beautiful: her Catholic faith, cooking, gardening, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Ellen’s faith, hospitality, and simple elegance were both of her own creation and drawn from her family heritage. These gifts will be how her family and friends will remember her.
