Obituary of Remberto Colon Lopez

Remberto “Roberto, Rember” Colón, de Palm Bay Florida, falleció el 28 de octubre del 2022 en Holmes Regional Medical Center en Melbourne, Florida.

Remberto nació el 4 de febrero del 1940, en Coamo, Puerto Rico, sus padres se llamaban, Francisco Colón y Augustina Diaz.

Conoció a su esposa Basilisa Colon en la adolescencia en Coamo Puerto Rico y tuvieron 4 hijos, Awilda, Janette, Carlos y Roberto.

En 1992 Remberto y si esposa Basilisa se mudaron de Puerto Rico para el estado de la Florida para estar más cerca a sus hijos y nietos.

Remberto amaba a sus hijos y nietos y toda su familia. A lo largo de los años le gustaba ir a pescar, amaba sus carros y no podía faltar sus gorritas, mas reciente le encantaba ir y sentarse en el garaje, ver, escuchar la gente y carros pasar enfrente de la casa.

A Remberto le sobreviven su esposa Basilisa Colón, hijas Awilda Colón (Dardy) Janette Lopez (Elmo) ,hijos Carlos Colón (Carmen) Roberto Colón (Aida): hermanos, Elba Colón, Myrta (Angel) Colón, Myrtita (David) Mendez, Conrado "Tony"  Colón y Oscar Colón; sus nietos, Carmen, Clovis, Elmo, Melanie, Kayla, Noemi,Sarah, Daniel, Nicholas, Jonathan, Roberto y Serenity ; bisnietos Yasmyn,Yael, Gabriel, Bryant, Cienna, Rylan, Jaiden, Sebastian, Ariadne, Janelis, Alaya, Audri, Ava y mucha más familia que lo querían y lo extrañaran.

Habrá un servicio conmemorativo el Viernes 4 de noviembre del 2022 de 2:00 P.M. a 4:00 P.M. en Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care  950 Malabar RD SE, Palm Bay Florida.

Remberto “Roberto, Rember” Colón, of Palm Bay Florida, passed away on October 28th, 2022 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne Florida.

Remberto was born on February 4 1940 to parents, Francisco Colón and Augustina Diaz in Coamo Puerto Rico.

He met his wife Basilisa Colón when they were teenagers in Coamo Puerto Rico and years later went on to have 4 children, Awilda, Janette, Carlos, and Roberto. 

In 1992 Remberto and his wife Basilisa moved from Puerto Rico to Florida to be closer to their kids and grandchildren.

Remberto loved his children and grandchildren and all his family. Throughout the years he enjoyed fishing, loved his cars and fedora hats, and more recently he loved to sit in the garage and people-watch and hear the cars pass by.

Remberto is survived by his wife Basilisa Colón; daughters, Awilda Colón (Dardy) and Janette Lopez (Elmo); sons Carlos Colón (Carmen), Roberto Colón (Aida); siblings Elba Colón, Myrta (Angel) Colón, Myrtita (David) Mendez, Conrado "Tony" Colón and, Oscar Colón; grandchildren, Carmen, Clovis, Elmo, Melanie, Kayla, Noemi, Sarah, Daniel, Nicholas, Jonathan, Roberto, and Serenity; great-grandchildren Yasmyn, Yael, Gabriel, Bryant, Cienna, Rylan, Jaiden, Sebastian, Ariadne, Janelis, Alaya, Audri, Ava and many more family that loved him as their own.

There will be a memorial service on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.  at  Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care 950 Malabar RD SE, Palm Bay Florida.
