Obituary of Evelyn Heisey

Evelyn (Evey) Heisey passed away on September 22, 2022 in Melbourne, Florida.

Evey was born in Orlando, Florida on February 1st, 1967. She was a long-time resident of Jacksonville, Florida, where the remainder of her family lives. She graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in 1985. In her early years she enjoyed working as a waitress at several restraurants in Jacksonville, FL. She moved to Melbourne in 2019 where she served at the Daily Bread Soup Kitchen.

She was active and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She had a love for animals, loved horseback riding, the beach, where she often took her children in their younger years, and riding bikes with her partner Jimmie. She was a big Miami Dolphins fan and loved going to games.

Evey was predeceased by her mother Dolores McCrary and her father David A. Heisey. She is survived by her brother Wayne (Angie) McCrary of Jacksonville, FL, her children Christina (Jimmy) Broadbent of Topeka, KS, Jacqueline (Juan) McAndrews of Sheldon, IA, Savannah Hebert of Jacksonville, FL, Garrett Hebert of Jacksonville, FL, and Cooper Hebert of Jacksonville, FL; 5 grandchildren, 2 nephews, and her partner Jimmie Bauer of Melbourne, FL.
