Obituary of Randolph "Randy" Dana Grant

Randy Dana Grant of Sebastian, age 57, passed away in Sebastian, FL on September 9th, 2022.

Randy was born in Bristol, CT on March 11th, 1965. Randy was a heavy equipment operator and loved his work very much.

He enjoyed golfing, and watching football, he loved the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his family.

Randy is survived by his wife of 36 years, Melissa Grant, his children, son, Randolph Grant II, daughter-in-law, Mandy Grant, daughter Ashley Acosta, son-in-law, Anthony Acosta, and his grandchildren, Ryan, Rodney, and Reygan.

A funeral service will be held at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral care 950 Malabar Road Se Palm Bay, Florida on Monday, September 19 with a viewing from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. followed by a service. Internment at Fountainhead Memorial Park 7359 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, Florida at 2:30 P.m.

I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free

I’m following the path God has chosen for me.

I took His hand when I heard Him call

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way

I’ve now found peace at the end of day.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joys.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss

Oh yes, these things, I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow

Look for the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life’s been full, I savored much

Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seems all to brief

Don’t lengthen your pain with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and peace to thee,

God wanted me now – He set me free.
