Myles McDonough, 85, of Satellite Beach, Florida, passed away on August 11, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. His family and friends will miss him dearly but are grateful to have known his quiet strength and eternal kindness.

Born on March 14, 1937 in Hartford, Connecticut, Myles was the eldest child of Henry and Ruth (Holbrook) McDonough. He had three siblings, Stewart, Duncan, and Dena Shively.

Myles married Cynthia, his loving wife of 59 years on May 4, 1963 in Niagara Falls, New York. He had three children: Kerry Scott (Jill), Susan, and Paul (Adrea). He delighted in spending time with his four grandchildren: Sydney, Luke, Dylan and Daniel.

Myles was an outstanding athlete and played both soccer and baseball for Manchester High School and Trinity College, his alma mater. While there, he earned the title of "Ace" for his outstanding pitching skills. In his adult years, he enjoyed racquetball and loved playing golf.

Myles was a 21-year Air Force Veteran, spending his career as a Special Agent in the Office of Special Investigations (OSI), settling in Satellite Beach after his last assignment at Patrick Air Force Base. After retiring from the Air Force, he continued in the same field at Harris Government Systems for another 20 years. His intelligence and calm disposition made him well suited for investigative work.

Myles will most be remembered for always putting others first and his willingness to help anyone at the drop of a hat.
