Obituary of Rafael Alvarez Vazquez

Rafael Alvarez Vazquez., age 45, passed away on October 10, 2021, with his wife and daughters by his side. He was born in 1976 in Caguas, Puerto Rico to Carmen Vazquez and Rafael Alvarez.

Rafael, who went by Ralph for short, grew up in many places including Puerto Rico, Germany, New York, Texas, and Miami. He attended Coral Gables Senior High School in Miami where he completed 11 years of school before moving to Virginia. Life led him back to Florida where he resided in Palm Bay with his wife and daughters.

Ralph was a hard worker who always provided for his family. Truck driving was his passion and what he decided to go to school for. After earning his CDL, he enjoyed many years of driving semi-trucks over 48 states until he decided it was time to work locally. Most recently, he worked for Cemex where he was a driver trainer. Ralph was always a dedicated worker to any job he worked earning many rewards and bonuses in all his jobs throughout his life.

Ralph enjoyed in his spare time doing anything that involved his family. He coached his girls in their softball teams, he enjoyed going to watch them cheer, he enjoyed fishing, being at the beach, going to theme parks, and just generally being outdoors. Ralph loved to cook and enjoyed feeding family and friends when he was around them. He also loved all his friends as family and treated everyone with respect and would do anything for anyone that he loved. Ralph was the type of person who would stop and help someone anywhere at any time. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Jennifer Alvarez; five daughters; Janet Belinda Alvarez, Britney Lynn Adler, Angelina Marie Alvarez, Lilliana Rayleen Alvarez, and Jessica Teresa Alvarez; his mother; Carmen Vazquez; his father; Rafael Alvarez; four brothers; Roberto Alvarez, Arnando Oquendo-Vazquez, Naason Alvarez and Joel Alvarez; one sister; Marine Alvarez; two grandchildren; Julian Xavier Suescun Alvarez and Oliver Nikki Suescun Alvarez; and a host of nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.
