Obituary of Steven Moody

In Loving Memory of Steven Moody, 28 years of age,

Passed away on 07/13/ 2021.

He was the fiancé of Haley May.

He was born in Melbourne, Florida on November 24, 1992

Steven was the son of Heidi and Lamar Moody.

He was employed as an associate at Walmart for the past 4 years.

Steven was a man of faith and believed everyone should have a personal relationship with God.

He enjoyed simple pleasures, like spending time with his daughter, family and friends.  Steven had a love for video games and would develop a mastery in little time. He was known as a kind and helpful person to his co-workers.

Steven will also be remembered for his wit and sense of humor.  He enjoyed deep and meaningful conversations with many. Steven never stopped educating himself. He was an avid reader, a life long learner. He was well-informed about History and Politics and was dedicated to finding the meaning of life. It was Steven’s search for meaning that led him to be an animal lover. Although he was nervous about becoming a father, he assumed his role very naturally.

 Steven is survived by his fiancé’, Haley May and daughter, Haven Moody, whom were the loves of his life. Father Lamar Moody and mother Heidi Moody, step-father Julio Garcia, brother David Moody and sister Katelyn Moody. Nephews Brendan and Marshall Moody, Cousin Bradley Carey, who was more like a brother to Steven. Grandmother Jennifer Carey and Grandfather Steve Reynolds.

He is also survived by Uncles and Aunts, Shane Reynolds, Ronald and Diana Carey, Donald and Felicia Carey, Patrick and Rebecca Wynter, Shawn and Amie Carey as well as many cousins, family members, friends and co-workers.

Steven was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Lewis Carey, paternal grandparents Dorothy Platt and David Moody, and uncle Blake Moody.

Graveside services for Steven Moody will be held on Saturday, July 24 , 2021 10 am at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7359 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909 with a Celebration of Life to follow after at 12 noon.

The Celebration of Life will be in the banquet room at the American Legion Post 117, 189 Veterans Drive SE, Palm Bay, Fl 32909 behind Dunkin Donuts on Malabar Road.

All are welcome to celebrate and pay tribute to this young father, fiancé’, brother, son, and special person to many.

Donations can be made payable to his precious baby girl, Haven Moody.
