Scott Thomas

Obituary of Scott Thomas

Scott was born early morning on June 13, 1962 in Lakeland FL.  He died in his sleep at home on June 29, 2021.  He is survived by his mother Mary Edith Thomas and his dog JoJo of Satellite Beach, FL   He was fortunate to have an extended family because of a dear friend Anna Lee Straight (Waupaca WI) and her beautiful family.  He will be missed by his Great Aunt Grace Prosser of Gulfport MS, and many cousins from all over the country.  He loved his friends Laura and Smitty Smith of Jacksonville FL, Jodie Wexelberg of Fairfax VA, Shane Ford of Orlando FL and others, all were longtime friends with whom he was very close.

Scott loved football, music, movies and people.  His beloved FSU Seminoles were a large part of his life; he was looking forward to the upcoming season.  He loved music, all genres, and had a huge collection that he enjoyed regularly.  He also collected movies.  Everyone enjoyed both because he shared them as though they were precious gifts.  Scott treated people like they were all his best friends and he loved them for it.  He was generous, thoughtful, and compassionate.  He is missed.  We lost him way too soon.

As he wished, no formal services are planned.  Enjoy his music in his honor.  Not necessary but donations to your favorite charities are always a good thing.
