She was predeceased in death by her parents Raymond and Lola Daniel, brothers Jack and Jim Daniel, son Johnny Ray Lee, and dear friend Janet Fussell.

She will be missed by her cats Bones, Splinter, Patches and Tabitha.

While raising her family, she helped operate a plumbing company and worked in the banking industry.  Once her children were grown, she was co-owner of two Chem-Dry franchises.

Velma loved Jesus, spoke to Him at length every night, and attended church when she was physically able.

She never failed to reach out with a card or call to let someone know she was thinking of them.  She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and kind heart.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal shelter in Velma's honor.
