Obituary of Cynthia L. Biberdorf

Melbourne, FL, Cynthia L. Biberdorf, 75, passed away from this earthly life-to-life everlasting on April 11, 2021.

Cynthia was born in New Orleans, LA on December 24, 1945, the first child to T. Maurice Rouede and Lucille Rouede Turner. Living in New Orleans until the age of 13, Cynthia enjoyed the traditions and surroundings of New Orleans, the city she loved and for which she held fond memories.

Cynthia attended high school at St. Joseph Academy in St. Augustine, FL. Upon graduation, she began work as the office assistant in the Rouede family business of real estate development and home construction. She later worked as a baker for Johnson Junior High School and remained there for 20 years, retiring in 1995.

Cynthia was twice married, first to James Ragan in 1973. The couple had one son, Kenny Ragan. In 1996, Cynthia married Norman Biberdorf, and as devout Christians, they attended and supported the mission of Ascension Lutheran Church in Indian Harbour Beach where they served as ushers and greeters, assisted with church events, food preparations, and bible study. Cynthia helped with the Sunday service bulletin, and she and Norman volunteered for community organizations The Daily Bread, The Salvation Army, and as poll workers for the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections.

Cynthia was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, Godmother and friend. As the eldest of five children, she assumed the role of matriarch as a positive role model, teacher, friend, and caregiver. She was a selfless and loving person always looking out for the needs of others.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband Norman Biberdorf, parents T. Maurice Rouede, Lucille (Rouede) Turner, and sister Cherie Bouldin. She is survived by her son Kenny, brothers Maurice Rouede and Ricky Rouede, sister Lisa Rouede, step-children Shawn Biberdorf, Wendy Milazzo, Todd Biberdorf, Lance (Adeline) Biberdorf, nieces Rosalyn (Rouede) Check, Victoria (Rouede) Johnson, and great niece and nephew Ella and Christian Check.
