Obituary of Glenn Leslie Botts

Glenn Leslie Botts, 71, aka. Papa & Pops, of Palm Bay, FL passed away suddenly in his home on October 8th, 2020.

He was born in Pittsburg, PA on the 6th of September 1949.

He was predeceased by his mother Fern and his son Glenn Jr.

He is survived by his wife Mechell, son Jeffrey Botts, daughter Nicole Brackett and her husband Todd, daughter Angela Velliquette, son Ryan Barlow and his wife Nicole, son Charles Botts, daughter Jessica Botts, son John Botts and his wife Kassandra, as well as 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He raised two of his grandchildren, Kerrianna and Alex, as his own. Papa lived his life happy, laughing, and passionate about using his skills in construction to help his family and friends whenever possible. He loved the Steelers more than anyone, and had a hobby of ham radio operator, call sign: KF4LOG. He served his country in the Air Force Reserves during the Vietnam War.

A viewing will be held at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 16, 2020 followed by a funeral service and his military service will be held on October 30th at 9:30 a.m., at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery 5525 US-1, Mims, Florida.
