Obituary of Vivian Deese Ghent

Vivian Deese Ghent born in Lancaster, South Carolina March 8, 1931, passed peacefully in her sleep into the loving arms of God on February 2, 2015 with her daughter Vickie by her side. Vivian was a loving daughter, wife and mother. She grew up in Lancaster, South Carolina and married her childhood sweetheart Fred Richard Ghent on June 27, 1950. They were true soul mates that shared life, love and laughter for 58 years. In 1964 she moved to Satellite Beach, Florida with her husband and two daughters. She was active in her church, First Assembly of God in Melbourne, where she was a member for over 20 years. Now, she is with her soul mate Fred in heaven and wrapped in the loving arms of God. Her wish for those of us who are left behind was to not grieve for her because she is with our heavenly Father. She wants us to continue to rejoice and not be sorrowed for her because she is where she wants to be forevermore, with God and Fred. She is at peace. You should be also. When tomorrow starts without her, do not mourn. Rejoice that she is without pain or heartache. She is survived by her daughters Vickie Ghent of Satellite Beach, Florida and Suzanne Ghent Louallen (Steve) of Kentucky, sisters-in-law Betty Ghent, Doris Phillips and Jeri Ghent, nieces Laura, Carol and Anna Rose, nephews John, Glenn Jr. and Christopher, grand nieces, grand nephews and many cousins. A service for the family will be held at a later date in South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of St. Francis, 1250-B Grumman Place, Titusville, FL 32780 for their loving care of Vivian.
