William Montano

Obituary of William Alexander Montano

William Alexander Montano, the first of three sons for Sharon Montano and Victor Mitchell, was born on September 22, 1988 in Trinidad. At the tender age of 2, William migrated to New York with his mother and older sister Michelle (Pebbles) in 1989 to join his grandmother Joyce, aunt Susan and uncle Neil (Danny) Montano. Shortly after his junior high school graduation in 2001, he moved to Florida and enrolled as a student at Palm Bay high school where he played football and graduated in May 2005. He went on to complete his training as an auto mechanic at Lincoln Technical Institute at College Point, NY. Although he enjoyed having these skill sets, his passion was elsewhere. With his love for music and landscaping as his personal enjoyments, William sought out a number of different career paths. Eventually, he became a fulfillment specialist at Amazon where he was able to meet new people and hone his interpersonal skills. With his wit, goofiness, selflessness, generosity and good looks, it was easy for William to make friends. He was well loved by all those whose lives he touched. He was a dreamer who always chose to see the best in everyone. His values led him to focus on a simple life that lacked an attachment to material things. With the highs in life comes some lows. William was in a tug of war with depression. With many hopes and aspirations, his path in life wasn’t necessarily what he envisioned for himself. Despite this, he still had a willingness to help others and to do it with an infectious smile. All this will be missed about him and more. He is survived by this three children, Isaiah, Joshua and Olivia Montano; his parents Sharon Montano and Victor Mitchell Theocharides; his brothers Adam and Aaron Theocharides; sister and brother-in-law Michelle and Robert (Bobby) Ward; nephews Robert (little Bobby) Ward, Ryder Ward, Elihah Montano; niece Reagan Ward; grandfather Alejandro Montano; aunts Susan Stokel, Allison Montano, Camini Montano, Chantal Montano, uncles Neil (Danny) Montano, Glen King, Wayne Montano; cousins Richard King, Kristy Amoroso, Kristoff Borrel, Kirstin Borrel, Kia Crespo, Lisa Montano, Sion Montano, Kyleigh Montano, Kyelle Montano and many other beloved family members.
